The design and build delivery method is a shift from the more traditionaldesign-bid-build delivery of interior fit out contracts. Design build contracts are usually performed by the contractor, who is in charge of the design and is also responsible to build the project. A design and build contract is usually the preferred contracting method under tight schedule circumstances, and it is intended to save time and considerable cost.
Successful design-build projects offer an owner many benefits that add value to a project.

Navigating Her Professional Journey
Hilal embarked on her impressive career journey in the world of architecture after graduating from Istanbul Technical University with a Bachelor's degree in architecture. Her professional evolution has been marked by dedication, expertise, and a passion for both design and construction.

Erasmus Experience at Technical University of Munich Academic Year August 2014 - July 2015
As part of her academic journey, Hilal had the enriching opportunity to broaden her horizons through the Erasmus program at the Technical University of Munich. During this period, she immersed herself in the rich architectural culture of Munich, gaining invaluable international perspectives that would later shape her career.

Construction Assistant Manager at Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels - Peninsula Istanbul Hotel Project December 2020 - July 2023
During her tenure at Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels, Hilal played a pivotal role in the Peninsula Istanbul Hotel project as the Section Chief for the Yolcu Salonu Building within the Food & Operations Construction division. Her contributions were instrumental in bringing this iconic project to life, showcasing her prowess in construction management.

Project Architect at Erginoglu&Çalıslar Architects September 2016 - December 2020
Hilal's journey began with Erginoglu&Çalıslar Architects, where she was an integral part of the design team. Her creative vision and architectural expertise were evident in her involvement in notable projects, including Yemeksepeti Extended Offices in Istanbul, Yemeksepeti Banabi in Istanbul, University of Economics in Baku, and Yemeksepeti HQ in Istanbul. Her work exemplified a commitment to design excellence.
